The technique of ear surgery
The incisions are made behind the ear. The aim is to achieve a result that is natural, without an exaggerated correction that gives an artificial appearance. The surgery is done under sedation by our anesthesiologist.

Recovery
Dressing to be kept on for a week. Bandages placed on the ears at night for a period of one month. Gradual resumption of activities after one week.

Complications
Bleeding, infection, contour imperfection, partial recurrence of the deformity.

Preparing for surgery
Stop smoking, avoid blood thinning medication. Respect the fasting required and take care to clean the skin well with an antiseptic soap.

What to watch for after surgery
Significant swelling of the surgical site. Discharge from the wound, fever, redness and opening of the wound.
