Botulinum toxin

(paralytic products)

  • The product

Botulinum toxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) is an injectable medication used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation. Used since 1987, Botox® is considered safe and effective for treating forehead wrinkles, frown lines and crow's feet.

  • Treatment with paralytics

The product reduces wrinkles. No convalescence time is required. Effects begin to appear 3 days after injection, with maximum results at 14 days. Effects generally last from 4 to 6 months. Most patients repeat the treatment twice a year.

  • Side effects

Headaches, bruising, asymmetry of treated areas, suboptimal treatment or vice versa. Diffusion of the product to the adjacent muscle, causing temporary inconveniences. Ex: slight, temporary eyelid ptosis, reversible with the use of eye drops.

  • Associated fees

    15 / 1 unit (taxes included)

These costs are non-refundable. If additional treatments are required, the corresponding costs are to be borne by the patient.
