The technique of eyelid surgery
The cut is placed in the hollow of the upper eyelid and at the edge of the lower eyelid. Excision of skin, fat and muscle is done as needed. When there is no excess skin on the lower eyelid, the excision of excess fat can be done through the inside of the eyelid without an external scar (Transconjunctival blepharoplasty)
