Implant insertion technique
Insertion of the implant into the chin: the incision is made in the chin. The implant is placed and fixed.

Recovery
Follow the guidelines provided in the pre-operation with regard to wound care, showering and diet.

Complications
Bleeding, haematoma, infection or exposure of the implant.

Preparing for surgery
Stop smoking, avoid blood thinning medication. Respect the fasting required and take care to clean the skin well with an antiseptic soap.

What to watch for after surgery
Significant swelling of the surgical site. Discharge from the wound, fever, redness and opening of the wound.
