The thigh lift technique
2 incisions are possible: axillary (small) or longitudinal for a more important correction. The skin and underlying fat are removed. Afterwards, the structures supporting the skin are suspended. The arm lift is performed under general anaesthesia.

Recovery
Follow the instructions for dressing and showering.

Complications
Bleeding, infection, opening of the wound, visible poor healing, decreased skin sensitivity, prolonged swelling in the upper limbs.

Preparing for surgery
Stop smoking, avoid blood thinning medication. Respect the fasting period and clean the skin well with an antiseptic soap.

What to watch for after surgery
Significant swelling, bleeding, fever, opening of the wound.
