Injectables

  • Botulinum toxin

Botulinum toxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®) reduces wrinkles in the face by decreasing muscle activity in the affected areas. Received in small doses, they are harmless and effective for a taut and rested face.

These products are used for patients who have wrinkles especially in the upper part of the face: the forehead, the glabella and the eye area.

  • Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid (Juvederm®, Belotero®) is the most widely used filler today. Its mechanism of action is to fill in wrinkles or fill a lack of volume in atrophic areas of the face.

These products are used for patients wishing to correct facial wrinkles, particularly around the mouth and areas lacking volume (lips, dark circles, mouth contour, jawline and cheekbones). Patients use this technique for its elasticity and durability.

  • Deoxycholic acid

Deoxycholic acid injections (Belkyra®) have proven to be a successful treatment for double chins and jowls. Microinjections of deoxycholic acid are made directly into the fat. In response to the fat mass, the product thins the unwanted tissue by destroying the fat cells gradually and permanently.

Much less invasive than liposuction, this maneuver can be repeated two or more times.

  • Threadlift

Threadlift (Silhouette Instalift®) is a facial rejuvenation technique that uses poly lactic-co-glycolic acid (PLCA) threads to lift and firm the skin. The threads are inserted under the skin with very fine needles, lifting sagging tissues and stimulating collagen production. Results are immediate and can last up to two years. Threadlift is a non-surgical alternative to facial surgery and is suitable for people who want a facial refreshment without undergoing a more invasive surgical procedure.

  • Poly-L-lactic acid

Poly-L-lactic acid injections (Sculptra®) stimulate collagen production in the skin. Poly-L-lactic acid is injected under the skin, helping to restore skin structure and firmness. This procedure can be used to treat wrinkles and deep folds in the face, as well as to increase volume in the cheeks and temples. Results are not immediate, but develop progressively over weeks and can last up to two years. Sculptra® is a non-surgical alternative for people who want natural skin rejuvenation without the need for more invasive surgery.

  • Platelet-rich plasma

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments use the regenerative elements in the patient's blood to improve the quality of their skin.

The use of this product is aimed at the candidate who is bothered by the quality of their skin or who has significant hair loss and certain other inconveniences that have not been eliminated with another treatment modality. This treatment can be combined with other injectables for maximum results. A minimum of two treatments is required to see tangible results.
